Brittany McDonaldson, a local golf star while at Harrisonburg High School, sunk a thrilling performance at the Stevenson University golf tournament this past weekend and landed our Royals Athlete of the Week honor.

Senior Daniel Stanley has thrown his way to the top of the ODAC and has been chosen as our Royals Athlete of the Week. A business administration major from Richmond, VA, Daniel is making his senior year a memorable one.

Royals Athlete of the Week: Michael Allen
Senior Michael Allen has jumped his way onto the leader board and landed himself as the Royals Player of the Week. Excelling at the long jump, triple jump, 100 meter dash, 200 meter dash, 4x100 and 4x400, Allen is no secret to the ODAC.

Royals Athlete of the Week: Courtney Allman
After a stellar performance at the Beach Blast in Virginia Beach over Spring Break, Courtney Allman has "swung" our decision in choosing her as our Royals Player of the Week for Feb. 25 – Mar. 3. Three home runs in one weekend is no easy task, but Courtney, a senior from Mt. Solon, VA, made it look effortless.

Junior Keyla Baltimore has been chosen for our Royals Athlete of the Week. Baltimore comes to us from Bristow, Virginia, where she was a standout for her high school. This week was a fanatical week for women’s basketball in the ODAC, and especially for the Royals.

EMU is pleased to announce Hannah Chappell-Dick as the Royals Athlete of the Week for Jan. 14-20. She is in her first year at Eastern Mennonite and has found a nice fit with the women’s cross country and track teams. Chappell-Dick is majoring in biology and working on a minor in exercise science.

Men’s basketball player R.J. Sims has been named the Royals Athlete of the Week. R.J. is a junior computer science major from Fort Washington, Maryland. He is a starter and plays the “2 guard” for Coach Kirby Dean and the Runnin Royals.
