  • Weather Slows Times But Not Finishes At W&L Carnival

    While Friday's weather was cool and windy, Saturday wasn't much better with clouds and sprinkles hampering the first outdoor track & field meet of the season, the W&L Carnival in Lexington, Va. Nonetheless, it was a successful start to the outdoor campaign for the Eastern Mennonite men and women as they took home a pair of individual wins.

    Grant Amoateng and Connor Faint were each named to the All-South/Southeast Region Team for their efforts during the indoor season.

    EMU had a single participant at Saturday's Maroons Final Qualifier in Salem, Va. Grant Amoateng made attempts in both the triple jump and long jump, hoping to stick a big leap to earn a trip to the NCAA Indoor National Championships next weekend.
