    Hunter Taylor is all about taking advantage of opportunities. His current one will take him to Turkey to represent the United States of America at the 23rd Deaflympics.

    EMU has announced the hiring of Danielle Lickey as the new Head Men’s Volleyball Coach. She most recently was the assistant women’s coach at D-II University of Charleston.
  • EMU's Taylor Heads To Brazil With D-3 National Team

    Christian Taylor is getting a once in a lifetime experience this month, representing his country and his sport in Brazil. Taylor is on the USA D-3 Volleyball Team, which is playing matches in different locations around the South American country over a 10-day period.
  • Seven EMU Volleyball Men Earn All-Academic Status

    For the third straight year, EMU men's volleyball team put seven players on the Continental Volleyball Conference All-Academic Team. The total is also the tied for the most in program history.

    Josh Elmore has been named the Continental Volleyball Conference Freshman of the Year, becoming the first Royal to win a major award in the six-year history of the CVC.
  • Royals' Run Ended By Juniata's Comeback In CVC Title Game
    April 15, 2017
    Eastern Mennonite outscored Juniata for the match, but it wasn’t enough as the Eagles came from behind to steal a five-setter and claim the CVC Championship Saturday night in Arlington, Va. The Royals had a 2-1 lead in sets before JC earned the fifth, where Eastern Mennonite led 14-11 and had six chances at match point before the Eagles flipped in front in a 22-20 final.
  • Royals Block Marymount For CVC Tournament Upset

    EMU’s volleyball men got defensive and it worked. The Royals racked up 20 blocks, including 16 over the final three sets, as they shocked top-seeded Marymount University in a 3-2 come-from-behind win in the CVC Tournament semifinals.

    Despite a CVC loss at Stevenson on Saturday, EMU’s volleyball men finished the regular season on a winning note as they head into their first-ever CVC Tournament. The Royals took a 3-1 win over Penn State-Altoona to wrap up Saturday’s tri-match in Owings Mills, Md., pushing their record to 21-10.

    In their last meeting, EMU used 12 service aces to earn a 3-1 win over Juniata. In Tuesday night’s rematch in Huntingdon, Pa., the Royals managed only three aces while Juniata hit .232, giving them a noticeable upper hand in a 3-0 sweep of No. 11 Eastern Mennonite.
