    Installation of Eastern Mennonite University?s new synthetic turf playing surface has been completed. The first competition for the surface was held Tuesday evening, May 23 as the Shenandoah Valley Adult Soccer League season began under the lights.

    Eastern Mennonite University will break in its brand new field hockey field when the Lady Royals host Gettysburg and Dickinson on the opening weekend of the season. In addition to the usual ODAC opponents, EMU will also travel to the Salisbury Tournament for the third straight season, will travel to Franklin and Marshall, and will host Frostburg State.
