May 04, 2017Eastern Mennonite University has announced the hiring of Ashley Kisner as the new Head Field Hockey Coach. She was an assistant coach this past year at Williams College. -
Royals Honored For Academic Work
March 15, 2017The Eastern Mennonite University field hockey team has been given the National Academic Team Award by the NFHCA. The award recognizes the team GPA from the fall semester of the 2016-17 academic year. -
Jackson Resigns As EMU Field Hockey Coach
February 06, 2017Eastern Mennonite University has announced the resignation of head field hockey coach E.A. Jackson. She has accepted a position as the head coach at D-I Towson University. Jackson’s last day at EMU will be Feb. 14. -
Augsburger Named All-State First Team
December 12, 2016Field hockey’s Emily Augsburger has been named one of the best defenders in the state, landing on the All-State First Team. She was an All-State Second Team member last year in an award voted upon by the Virginia Sports Information Directors. -
Royals Put Four On All-ODAC Teams

Overtime Score Gives Women Second Win In Two Days
October 26, 2016Despite playing their second game in less than 30 hours, EMU’s field hockey women had the legs in overtime to pull out a 3-2 win over Randolph-Macon Wednesday night at home. Emily Augsburger slammed in the unselfish pass from Madeline Mast to win it just 2:54 into extra time, giving the Royals their second straight ODAC victory. -
Field Hockey Women Earn First Conference Victory
October 25, 2016The Eastern Mennonite field hockey team picked up their first ODAC win Tuesday afternoon with a convincing 7-0 road shutout of Sweet Briar College. The Royals put 31 shots on goal while not allowing one attempt from the Vixens. -
