The Runnin Royals proved this to be true in Tuesday night's game, pulling away from Bridgewater College in the final three minutes of the ODAC Tournament First Round. Eastern Mennonite advances to the quarterfinals of the ODAC Tournament, where they will play top-seeded Randolph-Macon Friday at 1:00 at the Salem Civic Center.

    The Eastern Mennonite University men's basketball team dropped a 74-56 decision on Saturday afternoon against visiting Emory & Henry College. The loss drops the Royals to an overall record of 10-14, and 5-11 in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.

    The Runnin Royals ended a two-game skid in a big way on Wednesday evening, after coming up with a program record for a team shooting percentage of 63.3% from the floor as they blew past visiting Shenandoah University, 121-93. After a vital win for postseason positioning, Eastern Mennonite (10-13/5-10 ODAC) hopes to carry the momentum into their final game of the regular season on Saturday evening.

    The Eastern Mennonite University men’s basketball team won a thrilling overtime game over Randolph-Macon College, 70-69, on Wednesday night in Ashland, Va. R-MC was the only team in the ODAC that head coach Kirby Dean had not beaten on the road in his 15 seasons at the helm of EMU’s program.
