After a weekend out of the conference, the Royals stepped up to CVC play Wednesday night at Marymount. The Saints sent EMU home with a 3-0 loss.

The men return home this weekend, hosting three matches over four days. The homestand starts Friday night hat 7:00pm when CVC member Cairn comes to Yoder Arena. Neumann follows up Saturday morning at 11:00am.

Eastern Mennonite played well in the first set, limiting their mistakes. The men hung within a few points of Marymount until the Saints finished out a 25-20 score.

MU got out to a quick start in the second set and never slowed down in a 25-11 score. A 6-1 run in the third got the Royals within 13-11, but they would get no closer than two in another 25-20 final.

Travis Abele (Mechanicsville, Va./Lee-Davis) led EMU with six kills, seven digs and a pair of blocks. Setter Wyatt Bollinger (Harrisonburg, Va./Eastern Mennonite) had ten assists.

R.J. Ocampo (Virginia Beach, Va./First Colonial) had three blocks, including a solo stuff. Hunter Taylor (Ashland, Va./Patrick Henry) added five digs.

Ervin Harrell topped Marymount with nine kills and four blocks.
