Men's Volleyball Releases Schedule

Third year coach Danielle Lickey has released the 20-game schedule for the EMU men's volleyball team. For the second year in a row the Royals open up hosting a Quad Match Exhibition on Saturday, Jan. 18 which includes games against Southern Virginia, Richmond Volleyball Club, and EMU Alumni from recent years.

The regular season starts at home for the volleyball men on Sunday, Jan. 26 when they play St. Andrews at 3:00pm.

EMU then heads to Cincinnati, Ohio for a Tri-Match playing two games on Saturday, Feb. 1 against the host, Mount Saint Joseph, and Medaille. They return home on Feb. 8 for their first conference game of the season against Immaculata before traveling to reigning Continental Volleyball Conference Tournament Champion, Southern Virginia on Feb. 14.

The second tri-match in the month of February is in Reading, Pa. on the 22nd. The Royals will play the host Alvernia and Lehman.

The men return home on the final weekend of the month for two conference games. They take on Elizabethtown on Friday, Feb. 28 then the always tough Juniata on Feb. 29.

There are only two home games for the Royals in the month of March with the other eight games coming away from Yoder Arena. The first of those home games comes on Tuesday, Mar. 10 against Dominican (IL).

The first two Saturdays of the month are single non-conference games against Cal Lutheran and national powerhouse Stevens, which will be played in Buena Vista, Va. at SVU.

On Tuesday, Mar. 17 the men travel to second year program Randolph-Macon before heading to Kean and Rutgers-Newark the following weekend.

Eastern Mennonite plays their last home game of the season on Tuesday, Mar. 24 against Marymount and finish up their CVC schedule at Neumann Mar. 27.

The season wraps up with the Widener Tri-Match in Chester, Pa. with two games on Mar. 28 before playing the season finale on Friday, April 3, at Lancaster Bible.

Eastern Mennonite finished the 2019 season with a record of 4-19 overall and 4-7 in the CVC during a rebuilding year.
