EMU Women's Golf Finishes Play At Bridgewater Invite

After one of the best rounds of her career in the first tourney of the season, senior Olyvia Longacre (Telford, Pa./Dock Mennonite Academy) settled back at the Bridgewater Fall Invitational.

The EMU women's golfer had three birdies on Monday, but put together a round of 86. On the final day of the invitational, Longacre was a stroke better at 85 to total 171 (+27), finishing tied for 21st out of 47 women.

The tournament was played on the par-72, 5805-yard Mountain and Lake courses at Lakeview Golf Club in Harrisonburg.

Lynchburg's Elizabeth Self was a three-stroke winner at 147 (+3). York (Pa.) won the team title at 627 (+51).

Eastern Mennonite is back in action this Saturday and Sunday at the Randolph-Macon Fall Invitational at Hanover Golf Club in Ashland, Va.
