Senior Hannah Chappell-Dick (Bluffton, Ohio/Bluffton) has picked up yet another award from the conference office, her fourth ODAC Track Athlete of the Year award this year.
The four-time All-American now has 12 ODAC weekly awards combined from her track and cross country seasons.
Chappell-Dick notched the No. 2 time in the country in the 1500m run, racing to a time of 4:28.62 at the Colonial Relays, hosted by D-I William & Mary on Friday. The finish was just one second of her own ODAC record time of 4:27.25 set last season.
Chappell-Dick then traveled to the Roanoke Invitational on Saturday and helped her teammates finish second in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 4:12.70.
Eastern Mennonite's track & field team also announced today that they would not participate in this Saturday's Mason Invite at D-I George Mason University, due to expected poor weather conditions. Coach Britten Olinger said he would search for a replacement meet to attend the following weekend.
